School board expected to ratify new contract

The school board is expected to approve the contract agreement reached by the corporation and the teachers.The teachers agreed to stop all after-school volunteer work which would put activities like the 6th grade Chicago trip and the 6th grade camping trip in jeopardy. Teresa Perkins will change the kindergarden schedule and get approval for parent choice options at Lillian Emery School. Bids for new school buses, salary schedules, and approval of the students' handbooks are on the agenda.
