River City Winery receives Historic Landmarks award

The Historic Landmarks Foundation singled out the owners of Southern Indiana structures for recognition and preservation awards, including River City Winery. The winery received one of five awards presented in Bedford for rescuing the bacant Baer Block in New Albany. Gary and Melissa Humphrey and Allen and Rosie Bryant, the firm's partners, restored the Pearl Street building and adapted it from the cellar up to house the winery. Photographs accompany the article
