Price tag placed on building new shelter

A new youth shelter in Floyd County will likely cost between $2.1 and $2.6 million. That is what County Planner Don Lopp told the Floyd County Council at a meeting Thursday night. After the council decides what to spend, the remainder of the money will likely be collected through fundraisers and grants.
