Preliminary work on plant begins Monday

Construction will begin on Georgetown's wastewater treatment facility Monday. There were several legal and funding issues that stood in the way of Georgetown getting its own plant, as the Floyd County town has relied on New Albany for sewer treatment. Last year, State Rep.
