Retreat teaches middle school students good decision-making skills

The theme of the weekend was "Rise to the Challenge" and was held at Heartland Church of the Nazarene. The sixth through eighth grade students were taught about bullying, dating, teen suicide, drugs, alcohol and diversity. Speakers were interspersed with live music and worship, small group meetings and scavenger hunts. Photograph accompanies the article
