Donna Hussung made sure to go for her mammogram every year in June like clockwork; "This year I didn't even thing anything about it" speaking of her annual appointment. "In a couple of days, they called me and said there's something that's showing up on your mammogram that hasn't shown up in your other ones". Tests showed the mass needed to be removed, but it was not cancerous; however, the news wasn't as good for her other breast -- it was cancer. The mass had to be removed in her right breast, but she could choose between a partial or full mastectomy of her left -- she went for the complete mastectomy.
