The spirit of volunteering

Make a difference day is a nationwide event celebrating the spirit of volunteerism. Teacher Beth Hensley started this event at Highland Hills this past month...Students, parents, teachers, and staff donated hundreds of items such as toothpaste, shampoo, non-perishable snacks, small games, etc. which were packaged by students to distribute to members of the 151st infantry stationed in Afghanistan.
