OLPH students welcome special visitors
Photo: OLPH kindergarten students had some special visitors in the classroom recently. Carol Zurschmiede, an animal rescuer, brought several of her furry friends to the school and talked to the students about the animals that she rescues, nurses to health and releases back to nature. In class, the students have been discussing Creation and God's plan for people to care for the earth and all creatures. To compliment (sic) their lessons, the students are doing a service project called "Come to the Rescue" and are collecting items needed to help with the animals' care.
