Volunteers honored at Gold Leaf Luncheon

55 people were honored at the annual Gold Leaf Volunteer Luncheon.. Thelma Henderson was honored for her 4,000 hours to the Jeffersonville-Clarksville AARP; Gerald Wise and his wife Jean have volunteered 5,844 hours to the Louisville Science Center; Bob McIntosh has chaired the United Way campaign; John Hartstern, president of the Community Foundation spoke about these 4 volunteers and others who have given time to help Southern Indiana.. The Gold Leaf Luncheon began in 2000 to encourage volunteerism and recognize the work provided by non-profit organizations. The people honored are selected by the organizations they represent..
