Though it decided against eliminating the last month of the summer watering discount program this year, on Thursday the New Albany Sewer Board again discussed the financial strain the rebate is placing on the the utility. Board member, Ed Wilkinson said the abatement costs the city $100,000 a month. The discount is given for May, June, July and August usage, and is based on winter consumption levels
