Student threatened with knife at New Albany school

The Floyd County Sheriff's Department has opened an investigation after a 14-year-old student allegedly pulled out a pocket knife and threatened another student Friday afternoon at Community Montessori. Police are questioning why the public charter school, located along Staint Joseph Road in New Albany, did not report the incident to them until Monday.
