Plaza project may feature unique river view

The proposed River View Plaza development in downtown New Albany could live up to its name if the financing is right and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers approves a plan to restructure a portion of the city's flood levy. Deputy Mayor Carl Malysz said the development team has approached the Army Crops of Engineers about down-sizing a portion of the levy and replacing it with panels that will provide a view of the Ohio River.
