Strike up the bands

It ususally hosts football players and hundreds of fans, but this weekend Floyd Central High School's Ron Weigleb Stadium will house thousnads of fans and 16 high school marching bands from all around the area. The 20th annual Marching Band Invitational is expected to bring in more than 1,00 performing students, 4,000 spectators and enough cash through concessions, admissions and sponsorships to help Floyd Central by band equipment, support Winter Percussion and Winter Guard.
