Spring Street Hill reopens

Spring Street Hill Road reopened Tuesday, nearly five years after a blockade was placed at its entreance to keep traffic away. A retaining wall system was added to the street along with treatment of side slopes and ditches; a new guard rail also was installed. The city used a mix of tax increment financing and Community Development Block Grant funds to pay for the project. Daisy Lane to be finished May 15. Amphiteatre groundbreaking today
