Accidents

Mrs. Bridget Guthrie met with a severe accident this morning. She was going down a stairway at the residence of Mr. John Beggs, on Upper Main street, when she caught her foot on the stairway carpet and fell headlong to the bottom of the stairs, breaking her shoulder blade, and otherwise severely injuring her. At last accounts Mrs. Guthrie was in a very serious condition and fears are entertained that she may not recover from her injuries.
