Accidents
This morning, a man named John Brady ascended a ladder at the New Albany rolling mill for the purpose of oiling the journals of the machinery. While on top of the ladder, the "rollers" came by with a ball of heated iron for the squeezer. As they passed, the ball of iron struck the foot of the ladder, precipitating Mr. Brady to the ground, a distance of about eighteen feet, and badly injuring him. His fellow workmen at once placed him in a wheelbarrow and conveyed him to his home, when a physician was called in to look after his injuries.
