The other day during a brief absence of his mother, Arthur, the two and one-half-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Zipp, Thirteenth street near Sycamore, set fire to his clothing while playing near the kitchen stove. Mrs. Zipp returned to the home a moment later and found the child enveloped in flames. She at once put out the fire and a physician was summoned, but the babe was so badly burned that he died a few hours later.
