Obituaries

Mrs. Letitia Gebhart Crane, wife of Edgar S. Crane, died last week at her home in Yazoo City, Miss., from the effects of an operation for appendicitis. Mrs. Crane was the youngest daughter of John F. Gebhart, of this city, and although having been absent since her marriage over twenty years ago, she had numerous friends here. She was 44 years old and is survived by her husband and four children--three sons and a daughter (none named). The funeral was held in Yazoo City. Her sister, Mrs. W.A. Hedden, of this city, went to Yazoo City, having been called by wire, but did not arrive there until after the death of Mrs. Crane.
