County joins lawsuit against homeowner

A Floyd County judge may soon decide the status of the house and property at 519 Hausfeldt Lane. The Floyd County Commissioners on Tuesday night voted to join the health department in a lawsuit that would force Jarrett Hamilton to clean up his property, which is littered with cars and debris and attracting rats, according to neighbors.
