Culbertson Mansion to get upgrade

Historic districts across the country are defined by their distinctive cast iron architectural features. From New Orleans to Savannah, the intricate black metal work made from a mix of different elements has told tourists they are somewhere with a story to tell. Jessica Stavros, the development director for Culbertson Mansion for the past five years who was also recently promoted to development director for Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites, hopes upcoming restoration work to all cast iron on the property will inspire others on their own property and develop New Albany's historic identity.
