Duke Energy retiring Gallagher plant early

The over 60-year-old coal-fired generating station, which was scheduled to be retired in 2022, will now be retired by June, 1 2021, according to an email from Angeline Protogere, principal communications consultant for Duke Energy. See article for more detail, picture included.
