Obituary

We understand that Capt. Stephen S. Paxson, of this city, commander of the steamer Tribune, died at Cincinnati yesterday morning. Capt. P. has long been known as an efficient and energetic officer, having been owner and commander of quite a number of boats during the last sixteen years. His remains are expected in this city this morning.
