River News -- For Evansville

The side-wheel steamer Mary Ament, Capt. Liter, departs at 5 o'clock this evening for Evansville and all intermediate landings. She is a first class boat, and is doing a big business. Mr. Caffrey is in charge of her passage office, and is a courteous and accomplished gentleman. Those old favorites of the public, Billy Liter and A. Banksmith, are in the freight office. The people on the Ament live like princes.
