Obituary

A little lad, aged eight years, named Milton L. Depew, fell from one of the floats of Reamer & Co.'s wharf boat on Saturday afternoon, and was drowned. He was engaged at the time the sad accident occured, in sailing a little toy boat, which having got beyond his reach he attempted to recover. Reaching over too far from the float he was precipitated into the water, and disappeared under the wharf-boat of R. K. Dunkerson & Co. The body was recovered yesterday and buried, being followed to the grave by a large number of sympathizing friends of the afflicted family.
