Brick

Some of the very best brick we ever saw were shown us a few days since by Mr. John B. Crawford, the well known brick mason of this city. They were made by the old process and out of a kiln of over 300,000 there is scarce a wagon load that would not pass anywhere as first quality. Some 25,000 of these brick are semicircular in shape, and are intended for bases to the windows in the new residence building by W. S. Culbertson. Mr. Crawford has no superior either as a brick maker, a brick layer, or master builder.
