A Sad Case

A commission of lunacy was held this afternoon by justices Collins and Huckeby, the subject of which was Miss Mary McCutchen, who resides with her mother on Lower Eighth street, near the railroad. She is about 19 years of age, and has been insane for the past week.. The immediate cause of her affliction is supposed to be an attack of fever, but the prime cause was the suicide of her father, which occurred last February. She talks about him almost constantly, and has been very despondent since his death.. The papers were prepared to send her to the asylum at Indianapolis, and she will be taken up as soon as notice of her acceptance is received.
