The Patrons of Ayers University are hereby notified that it will hereafter be conducted under the supervision of Mr. Joseph Bliss, who has been carrying on successfully for years past a High School for Boys, at Bardstown, Ky. Mr. B. is an experienced teacher, and is confidently believed will give satisfaction to those who may place their sons under his care.. The institution will hereafter be known as the New Albany High School.. It is the purpose of the Principal to associate with him competent teachers, and to spare no pains to make the school in all respects equal to what it has been in former years.. It affords me pleasure to recommend Mr. Bliss to the confidence of the public, and express my belief that the reputation of the school will not suffer under his management. JAMES WOOD.. NEW ALBANY HIGH SCHOOL.. This institution, as will be seen from the above Card, has been transferred to the subscriber, with all its facilities, both as to its position, buildings, &c., for conducting a Boarding School of the first order, with the addition of a good Philosophical and Chemical Apparatus and Geological Cabinet; also, Globes and Anatomical Maps.. Charges for Day School as heretofore. Terms for Boarding pupils will be made known by circular.. The next scholastic year will commence on the first Monday of September. The patronage of the citizens of New Albany, and of the public at large, is respectfully solicited. JOHN BLISS.
