New Albany Theological Seminary

We understand that Drs. McMaster and Lindsley, have accepted the Professorships to which they were elected in the New Albany Theological Seminary and have entered upon their duties. The institution was opened on Monday last with encouraging prospects. Provision has been made for instruction by a well qualified teacher in Hebrew and in Oriental and Biblical Literature. We also learn that the Executive Committee have obtained the services of Rev. J. M. Worrall, of Oxford, as agent to secure the endowment of an additional Professorship, and he will enter immediately upon his labors.
