Hospital tearing down vacant homes

Ten homes along East Common Avenue which have been vacant for years, are finally being torn down. The homes between Pearl and Bono Road were acquired by Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services prior to its most recent expansion. The houses will be torn down and cleaned up in four to six weeks and the property will not be immediately paved
