Honor Flight taking off for round two

On Saturday a group of veterans left Louisville International Airport for Washington, D.C.. For many of the veterans on board it was their first trip to Washington D.C., and for others on the flight it was the first time they got to see a memorial that was erected in their honor. The flight was part of a program designed by the Bluegrass Chapter of Honor Flight, a nonprofit organization designed to fly veterans -- with priority given to World War II survivors -- to the capital free of charge to visit the monuments honoring their service
