Ivy Tech, IUS prepared for potential threats

Local colleges have emergency plans in place. Though administrators at Ivy Tech and Indiana University could not recal the last timea serious threat was called into their schools they said they feel they're prepared to handle an emergency. With the shooting at Virginia Tech in 2007 and other serious incidents at other schools in years past, universities have expanded training programs for faculty, staff and campus security
