Library begins book discussions

The New Albany Public Library will host a new year of the Brown Bag and a Book Noon Book Discussion, at noon Jan. 20 with a discussion of "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. Attendees should bring their lunch while we discuss the story, which begins at the end of WWII when a writer begins correspondence with the members of a unique book club. The club has been formed as an alibi to protect its members from arrest by the Germans. Why not read the book and join us as we discuss the book and taste the pie
