Haiti's loss felt locally

Larry Poe is pastor of Faith Community Church which is sending funds to Haiti to help with the earthquake disaster relief. With American flights now being allowed into Haiti, Poe and other volunteers associated with Faith Community's mission work are trying to organize a trip as soon as possible. The church received word from their missionary that the hospital and a retreat center nearby received minor damage from the 7.0-magnitude earthquake. Photographs accompany the article
