Schools facing budget woes

There will be a shortfall in revenue for the New Albany-Floyd County School System this year.. All school systems in Indiana are affected by the lack of funds for the year 2003.. Superintendent Brooks will need to make cuts in programs beginning in the spring.. The board will be presented with 2 proposals to fix both pools at New Albany and Floyd Central at the February meeting.. A recommendation will be made on the New Albany High School's open campus rule at the February meeting.
