Stormwater masterplan nearing completion

After flooding ravaged New Albany last summer, residents and politicians have been eagerly awaiting the release of a new stormwater masterplan. When the final plan is presented, the board will likely pass it on to the City Council for consideration. The chairman of the board said from a safety standpoint it makes more sense to focus on susceptible flooding areas where major roads are impacted as opposed to neighborhoods where flooding is limited to standing water in residents' yards. One of the top priorities identified in the plan is the Castlewood Drive area
