Two arrested in flood gate panel theft

Two men were arrested Tuesday afternoon in connection with the theft of seven flood gate panels in New Albany. Eric Sansbury and Floyd Jackson were arrested in Clarksville, and according to New Albany police, both men were wanted in Clark County for child support issues. The panels were stolen from a storage area near the opening of the city's flood wall at East 18th Street and Water Street over the weekend of Dec. 12 and 13; they were recovered Dec. 15 at Freedom Metals in Louisville
