Vandals damage handmade Christmas display

The elaborate display of three wise men and a camel, placed in front of 1116 E. Elm St. each year was damaged by vandals Tuesday night. The large pieces are all homemade, Charlie Harshfield said, and have been an annual display that the neighbors in the area look forward to for the past six years. Harshfield said his flood lights, which illuminate the display, were stolen last year, but the display pieces have never been touched. Photographs accompany the article
