Obituaries

William Proctor, a veteran of the civil war and a resident of this city for many years, died last Wednesday night at his home 1418 South street, after an illness of several weeks, his death being due to the infirmities of advanced age. He was born in Kentucky eighty-three years ago and served in the civil war in the Federal army in a regiment from that state. His wife and five children are left. The children are William, George and Lincoln Proctor, Mrs. Dorothy Cooper and Mrs. Lina Cook.
