On April 2, nearly 300 friends and family gathered to celebrate the 100th birthday of Marietta Gesenhues. A formal mass was officiated by her nephew, Fr. Steve Banet, along with Fr. John Elmer and Fr. Bill Ernst, at the St. Mary of the Knobs chapel in Floyds Knobs. See article for more. (photos).
