Till Tapping

Some adroit thief yesterday afternoon entered the saloon of Mrs. Bader, on State street, between Market and Spring, took the key of the money drawer from a sugar bowl, unlocked the drawer, and robbed it of all the money it contained, some five or six dollars. There was a watch in the drawer which the thief either overlooked or feared to steal. Till tapping is of almost daily occurrence in the city, and is carried on with the most refreshing boldness.
